The walls of a PICU. They can feel like they are closing in on you. You can lose track of what time it is, what day it is, or if you’ve even eaten. This is the life of a PICU parent, and hopefully you know nothing of this world. But if you’d like to do something SWEET for those who find themselves in this world, we’d love to have your help! Once a month we visit INOVA Children’s Hospital in Fairfax to take PICU parents catered lunch, and ‘all the necessities’ from home they never had time to pack. We lay it all out in the parent lounge and say ‘help yourself’! From leggings and razors, to adult coloring books, face wipes and hair ties….we have thought of everything! Would your company, church, team or family like to donate items to help SJGF shower some much needed TLC onto these weary families going through so very much? If so, there are different ways to help!
